Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Italian Zest is a beautiful new addition to the iconic Light Blue range. Back in 2001 when the first Light Blue fragrance was released we’ve all fallen in love with the fresh citrus opening of this playful Eau de Toilette. Now, the Italian fashion house decided to enhance the freshness of their iconic fragrance and to make it even more citrusy by adding Limone Primofiore. This single ingredient turned out to be a game changer. Limone Primofiore is extracted from the tree’s first bloom in order to get the fruit’s most intense scent of Lemon. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Italian Zest opens with a fresh and intense scent of lemon which during the first 20 minutes of the development of the fragrance overpowers the green apple and the Sicilian cedar. As the perfume dries down the strong citrus opening of the fragrance quickly blends with the freshness of Granny smith apple and Sicilian cedar which adds balance and depth to this fruity explosion. The scent of white roses and jasmine complement beautifully the top notes of this uplifting summer fragrance. The note of amber and soft musk adds a touch of femininity and elegance to this Italian masterpiece.
