Spring is just around the corner and the House of Dior has already released its gorgeous and glowing makeup collection and it’s all about that GLOW. When we think about spring the first color that comes to mind is pink; oh, these heavenly beautiful blooming trees that explode with all kinds of pink flowers, from pale innocent champagne pink to a deep fuchsia color…. It’s all about that pink attitude…. and it seems like Pink is in the air… ?

No doubt that Peter Philips decided to dedicate Dior’s 2018 Spring Makeup collection to “the color of femininity in all its ambivalence…”. Indeed, the iconic pink color is very dear to the House of Dior and has long been cherished by Monsieur Dior himself.

This year the Creative and Image Director for Dior, Peter Philips has managed to create the most feminine and lovable spring makeup collection featuring two sensual eyeshadow palettes. (667 Flirt and 887 Thrill)

Les Palettes ($63) 5 Coleurs

The stars of Dior’s 2018 Glow Addict makeup collection are the two limited edition iconic 5 Coleurs palettes.

887 Thrill (on the left) is my personal favorite and it features a captivating burgundy color, a pearly pink, a luminous nude, a champagne ivory, and an electric pink shade. Definitely a statement palette.?

667 Flirt (on the right) offers a perfectly balanced peachy pink color, a pearly white, a contrasting greyish black, a deep aubergine color and a peachy shade. The colors in this palette have a very sophisticated sheen.

I could not resist buying these gorgeous rosy masterpieces. Both palettes blend effortlessly and wear beautifully throughout the day.

Get the Glow

There is a whole new range from the iconic universal balm from Dior Backstage and a beautiful selection of colors that suit every complexion. There are three finishes: original glow, matte, and holographic.

I’ve chosen Lip Glow n. 009 Holo Purple and it has the prettiest tiny shimmer that reflects the light beautifully to create a subtle barely noticeable purplish glow on the lips. It feels very moisturizing and it adds a touch of color to the lips. These Lip Glows retail for $34.00. There are 10 shades to choose from.

If you are a fan of highlighters, you would be fascinated by the two alluring highlighters. The limited edition Dior Nude Air Luminizer comes in two different shades:

001 Holo Pink which in my opinion is more suitable for pale skin tones or for those who prefer the natural iridescent almost undetectable glow, and

002 Holo Gold which is a more intense golden highlighter
