The New Happy Fragrance from Bvlgari

This spring the house of Bvlgari launched their latest addition to the iconic Omnia collection – Omnia Pink Sapphire Eau de Toilette. The nose behind this sparkling floral fragrance is Alberto Morillas, a master perfumer who has created a number of iconic fragrances such as Calvin Klein CK One, Kenzo Flower, Giorgio Armani Aqua di Giò and many more. With Omnia Pink Sapphire, Morillas wanted to create a festive floral Eau de Toilette that captures the youth and the joy of life. The fragrance is described as a fresh citrus-fruity composition that has notes of sparkling pink pomelo and exotic flowers.

 

Summer and the Fragrance

Summer is the season of freedom, exotic getaways and bold dreams and it seems like the new Omnia Pink Sapphire was created just for this season. This is a happy fragrance dedicated to the young, confident woman. I would describe this fragrance as girlish, easy to wear everyday summer fragrance.

 

The inspiration 

 

The beloved Omnia collection by Bvlgari with its unique ‘link’ bottle offers scents inspired by precious stones. Each fragrance represents a tribute to different vibrant gems carefully chosen to celebrate ‘the feeling of freedom’.

Now, the irresistible gemstone story continues with a new colorful addition inspired by the most romantic and girly gemstone – pink sapphire.

 

The notes

 

Bvlgari Omnia Pink Sapphire Eau de Toilette has a fresh and slightly sweet opening which quickly settles down into a girlish uplifting and lively fragrance but without being too sweet or soapy. The top notes of pink pomelo and pink pepper are not overwhelming, and they quickly settle down and blend with the exotic flowers. I personally can’t describe this fragrance as citrus. The most prominent note to me is pink pepper mixed with the scent of Frangipani and there is a touch of grapefruit and pomelo but almost undetectable. The base notes add depth and longevity to the fragrance. The white musk balances the whole floral combination and makes Omnia Pink Sapphire a joyous, yet sophisticated fragrance especially suitable for spring and summer.
