A New Parisian Love Story by Yves Saint Laurent
In February 2018, Yves Saint Laurent have introduced their newest addition to the Mon Paris Family – Mon Paris Couture Eau de Parfum. This time the fragrance inspired by the most romantic city in the world has captured the free spirit of the young, modern and radically couture Yves Saint Laurent woman.
The first fragrance from the Mon Paris line was released in 2016, and followed by an Eau de Toilette version in 2017. Back in 2016, we’ve all fallen in love with the original Mon Paris Eau de Parfum. The composition of the 2016 fragrance has an intense fruity opening that is almost delicious, and it slowly settles into an intoxicating sweet floral, seductive perfume. In 2017 YSL released a new Eau de Toilette version of the beloved Mon Paris Eau de Parfum that was lighter and airier but it still retained it’s white chypre character. Now, in the beginning of 2018 the fans of this gorgeous Paris-inspired fragrance line can enjoy a new slightly more floral version of the obsessive white chypre fragrance.
The notes
Mon Paris Couture Eau de Parfum is described as a sparkling white chypre fragrance. It has a fresh citrus opening that is quickly joined by the irresistible fruity notes of raspberry, mandarin and orange blossom. The fragrance quickly develops as an alluring floral perfume combining a sophisticated heart of rosebud and white flowers that make the fragrance girly yet elegant. The base notes include ambrox, white musk and patchouli.
Mon Paris Couture Eau de Parfum is a more floral and more sophisticated version of the original fragrance. It was created by the perfume trio Dora Baghriche-Arnaud, Olivier Cresp and Harry Fremont.
