The Tom Ford Lip Spark Commando # 13 lipstick was on my wish list for a very long time. So, last month I could not resist anymore the temptation to own it and I purchased it. Surprisingly for me, the performance of the Tom Ford Lip Spark Commando No. 13 lipstick was so stellar that I decided to buy another lipstick from the Tom Ford Lip Spark line in order to have a small Tom Ford spark lipstick collection. In one of my next blog posts I will present the other gem of the Tom Ford Lip Spark line. I should admit that I am not a great fan of glitter lipsticks. Yet, I really fell in love with the gorgeous Tom Ford Commando lipstick shade and performance.
The Tom Ford Lip Spark Commando # 13 lipstick is a perfect addition to any make-up collection, and it is especially suitable for the summer season.
Description
I was postponing to try the Tom Ford Commando lipstick because I have very sensitive lips and lip products with glitter finish usually tend to feel uncomfortable on my lips. Sometimes I have felt also irritation. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that the Tom Ford Lip Spark Commando # 13 lipstick feels very emollient and light on the lips. It feels very comfortable as well.
The color of the Tom Ford Commando lipstick is a soft medium copper with a warm undertone. The copper is beautifully mixed with tiny sequins which are quite visible on the lips if applied lightly. The texture and the pigmentation of the Tom Ford Commando lipstick are beautiful. The packaging of the lipstick is quite impressive. It comes in a mirror case which allows fingerprints to be easily left. However, the fingerprints and any other smudges are also easy to clean. Overall the packaging is outstanding as to be expected by Tom Ford.
Longevity and performance
The Tom Ford Commando lipstick has solid performance as it lasts approximately three to four hours. It does not dry out my lips and the sparkle that it gives is very sophisticated.

Application tips
You can apply a sheer layer of the Tom Ford Commando lipstick on your lips or you can build up the color to a full coverage and reach a high-shine finish. I usually apply a thin layer of transparent lip balm on my lips and then I apply on top the Tom Ford Commando lipstick. The Tom Ford Commando lipstick can be used alone or as a topper to bring life and shine to any matte lipstick.
My rating
My overall satisfaction with the Tom Ford Commando lipstick is very high. The bottom line is that I adore this Tom Ford product and I was very happy for purchasing it. So, my rating of this specific Tom Ford product is 9 out of 10. I am definitely planning on purchasing two more colors from this Lip Spark line in the future.
